Tuggerah Lake

Thursday afternoon arrived in The Entrance, Tuggerah Lake, near Gosford, just outside Sydney.
Another easy drive down the Pacific Highway, crossing enormous rivers and viewing vast landscapes. I now understand why Jemma's friend asked "what's that little river?" whilst looking at the Thames in Kingston!
This resort is quiet too - end of season feel to it.
Off for a swim now and then up in morning to provision for and then take houseboat on the Hawkesbury to actually experience a colossal river.

What a wonderful bird, the pelican
It's beak can hold more than its belly can.
It holds in it's beak enough food for a week.
I wonder how the hell-'e-can!
