we are having a very lazy time now, just sightseeing around the beautiful area where my sister lives. The laid back way of life is all we imagined and I am so impressed at the beachside facilities that are all free to use; changing rooms, loos, lagoons to swim in, not to mention the helpful, smiley people all around. Pete has yet to canoe however, as the sea kayaks seem to be club owned and he would probably have to have a lesson to take one out, which he doesn't particularly want. He will try on the river instead.
Today, we drove to Dayboro, up in the hills, but it's raining so heavily the views were obliterated! Dayboro was very pretty, however.
Tomorrow we stay in central Brisbane with niece, Jemma in her flat. We are 'doing' Brisbane on Wednesday - Nick and I shopping, Pete boating!
Meanwhile back at home, a small Matilda keeps us entertained - such a gorgeous girl. Just like her Mum!
