Sunday on the Hawkesbury

Pressed on to Spirit Bay. Only one other boat here. It's raining.
These swinging moorings are amusing: the back deck awning frames the view and pans around like a virtual tour. The poor little tender tries to keep up but every so often you hear a knock as it's got in the way again. At night you can lie in bed and watch the tops of the trees come in and out of view.
We passed some land civilisation today and stopped for an ice cream at Cottage Point. An old building (1913) with an elevated terrace and an old hippy atmosphere, laid back and scruffy, just how we feel.

These last few blogs are late as we have had no wifi until today, Monday. We are now in Sydney.

Your interesting and colourful word pictures almost better than the photos of such lovely places.
River too big - tender too small?
We'll stick to this little river and a pleasure boat.
All you hoped for so far - and another 7/8 weeks to come.
    Well done.
    Love P'n'O
